the Millport Festival Guitars
On the 2nd/3rd of September Nashville comes to Millport on the island of Great Cumbrae off the South West coast of Scotland. To celebrate we were commissioned to build a special guitar. So here it is the Cumbrae guitar - with hints of an acoustic guitar and in the stylised shape of the island, this split coil humbucking guitar is ready to go....
left to right - white Korina, Swamp Ash, Swamp Ash, Honduras Mahogany and Alder. Each one has a rosewood pickup surround and bridge with brass saddle, golden age hum bucker with push pull volume to split the coil, rosewood fingerboard on a Maple neck and Gotoh tuners.
